Promoting meaningful learning is the challenge that has been imposed on us as teachers in the face of these new educational scenarios. An intervention with active methodologies is proposed to forge significant experiences. The main objectives of this intervention are to identify the most effective active methodologies, highlighting the learning portfolio, for student learning in the culinary context taking into consideration the context of each group; secondly, to design a teaching and learning strategy with its respective action plan that allows the implementation of the methodologies identified in the subject of Nutrition; and last but not least, to evaluate the impact of the intervention and subsequent implementation of these strategies on both learning and student performance; seeking in this way not only to improve academic performance but above all to contribute to the training of upright and competent professionals in the field of gastronomy.
