Organization of roles
Below are the roles and responsibilities of each member of the Editorial Team in the editing process.
Director:
· The Director is responsible for the coordination, promotion, and representation of the journal with various Directorates, Units, Faculties, and Vice-Rectorates within UNAB.
· The Director oversees the journal's annual budget.
· The Director will report annually to the Faculty Council of Education on the journal's operations and its needs.
· The Director, together with the Editor, ensures the journal's functioning, development, and continuity.
· The Director is responsible for the journal's dissemination, institutional relations, exchanges, indexing, and any other tasks that contribute to improving the journal's quality and recognition.
Editor:
- The Editor is responsible for receiving manuscripts and managing them throughout the evaluation and publication process.
- The Editor will review and verify the relevance of the articles and other submissions sent to the journal for publication.
- The Editor, together with the Editorial Assistant or Editorial Advisor, will acknowledge receipt of all submitted works to the authors.
- The Editor will convene a weekly meeting with the Director and/or Editorial Advisor to manage the evaluation and publication process.
- The Editor, together with the Editorial Advisor, will oversee the entire editorial process for each issue of the journal.
- The Editor will collaborate with the Director in the journal's dissemination, institutional relations, exchanges, indexing, and any other tasks that contribute to improving the journal's quality and recognition.
