Journal ethics
The journal Transformación Superior is committed to the educational scientific community to ensure ethical principles and the quality of the articles it publishes as a means of disseminating research activities.
Likewise, we strive to ensure an appropriate response to the needs of authors and scientists who trust our publication, guaranteeing the quality of each issue, respecting and protecting the content and integrity of the articles. The Editorial Committee is committed to publishing clarifications, corrections, retractions, and apologies when necessary.
To implement and carry out these best practices, Transformación Superior has a system for selecting articles that are continuously reviewed by external reviewers in an anonymous manner. These peer reviews are conducted by qualified experts, based solely on the scientific relevance of the article, its originality, clarity, and relevance of the proposed work.
Transformación Superior will always ensure the confidentiality of the process, including the anonymity of both reviewers and authors, the content under review, the report issued by the reviewers, and any other communication made by members of the editorial board.
Additionally, confidentiality will be maintained in the event of any requests for clarifications, complaints, or concerns that any author wishes to express to the editorial committee, led by the editor responsible for the publication. All articles received by the journal will be subjected to plagiarism detection software, specifically Turnitin, and actions will be taken according to COPE’s guidelines in cases of positive results for plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
Transformación Superior is committed to disseminating published work and ensuring its originality and contribution to the educational scientific community. For this reason, plagiarism is strictly prohibited, and any texts found to be plagiarized or containing fraudulent content will be removed from the journal if already published, or they will not be published at all. The journal will act as swiftly as possible in such cases. By accepting the terms and conditions expressed by our journal, authors agree to guarantee that their article and any associated materials are original and do not infringe on copyright. Authors must also ensure that, in the case of shared authorship, all authors involved have given full consent, and that the article has not been previously submitted or published in another scientific outlet.
Our journal adheres to the Code of Conduct and Best Practices published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for journal editors, available at https://publicationethics.org/files/Code_of_conduct_for_journal_editors.pdf.
